A Day at the Big E

Katahdin spent last Saturday at the Big E in Springfield, MA, cheering on his friend Zuna, meeting his new friend Basel, and catching up with some "old" friends.

Mail Call

Katahdin recieved his first care package in the mail this week! His cousins in Woodstock, CT sent him some wonderful new toys and treats.



He enjoyed unwrapping the package as much as he loved his new toys!

Socialization is the name of the game!

First Walk

Katahdin enjoyed his first walk around the block today! There was a little bit of snow, but he loved it. He met a few more neighbors and the two twin babies across the street.

First Week at Home

Katahdin enjoyed his first week at home, exploring his new house, playing with his toys and meeting many new neighbors and fellow dogs! He also took several exciting car rides to visit his extended family. He spent the days at home working with dad, and even helped mom with her work at night!

Its a Boy! Katahdin Dutson

We have been searching for the perfect canine addition to our family. After a year of researching the right breed, we have found him. He's beautiful - weighing just under 25 lbs with very handsome markings! He is a Greater Swiss Mountain Dog with a very mellow attitude, but he loves to play. His name is Katahdin and he is named after the mountain in Maine. We drove to Washington DC to get him and he was very good in the car on the way home. His favorite stops included a New Jersey Starbucks and a diner in Connecticut!
